TYPES OF FASTING
- Abstaining from certain foods (e.g., meat, sweets, treats) – Daniel 10:3
- Abstaining from all food for a specific time – Esther 4:16, Acts 9:9
- Abstaining from non-food items (e.g., TV, social media, video games, music, texting) – Daniel 6:18
