Hebrews - King, Pioneer, Brother

Jun 16, 2024    Jake Garrett

So far the author of Hebrews has established Jesus as divine. He is the exact imprint of God's nature and the radiance of his glory. Jesus is above the angels. But this week, in chapter 2 of Hebrews, we turn our attention to the implications of Jesus' humanity and his death on the cross. Jesus is the King who took action, the Pioneer of our salvation, and the Brother who is not ashamed of us. In Jesus' death and resurrection we find our ultimate freedom from death itself.
